Traffic Gallery is happy to present the first novelty of the 2020 season with the personal exhibition of the young Milanese artist, but Roman by adoption, Filippo Riniolo (born in 1986).
The spaces of Traffic Gallery will be the stage for a dozen works-icons depicting some of the best known stars of the Italian trap music scene.
The intent of the artist is to underline the connection between what happened in Nicea in 800 AD and what today distinguishes the use of the image in Western culture. The dominion of the image over the word and the representation of the divine through gold have their roots in the council of Nicea.
