My research focuses on the anthropological observation of the relational aspects of human nature when it is conducted at its limits. Starting from images, videos and iconographies taken from the media, i highlight the relationship brought to the extreme by contemporary man with information. In my research the development of particular images and data coming from third party information channels is constant: a lack of definition, an accentuation of the disturbance or of the error that from defects turn into unique and absolute values.
My practice is characterized by a surface painting: light and dense drafts where a controlled gesture does not allow errors or rethinks. I prefer painting and drawing as methods of returning the idea and relies on them for a process of construction and deconstruction of the images that makes them acquire their own vitality and a strong autonomy.
